The real reviewers are my 4 year old and 2 year old….they keep asking me to read this book so Five Stars for sure! They like Flip the Frog, the bright pictures, and the clever, repetitive writing. I like that the book allows you room to discuss what patience looks like in your own family. It has been a fun way to jump-start our conversations on patience. I hope you enjoy reading this book too!

As a marketing professional, my patience is tested every day waiting for the results of my campaigns. I wouldn’t be as successful as I am without patience. I found this book while trying to find the best ways to teach this invaluable trait to my young children. My kids love the book, and the conversations that we have been having, as a result, are priceless. I can’t wait to see the next book in the series!

“This book is a really simple way to teach your kids the concept of being patient. The main character, Flip the Frog, appeals to kids and the storyline takes place in smalltown boutique shops that kind of me of the setting you might find in other popular children’s series (like Mr. Rogers).

The best part is that after reading this, we immediately had a situation where we wanted our 4-year-old to wait for her cousins to arrive before going for ice cream (they were very late). Normally, our kid would have had a hard time with it…after all, we were right outside of the ice cream shop. We actually had our kid say in a confident tone “It’s OK, I’ll wait,” with a smile on her face. I knew this was a direct result of the book! Kudos to the authors for conveying a difficult concept in an easy to understand way.
